Kay

I regularly shoot at a studio in New Hampshire, which hires traveling models for a multi-session engagement. They shoot their own content in one session and invite photographers to reserve 1:1 shooting slots afterward. Kay was out of my local market, so this was probably the only way we would have connected.

I do one-hour sessions at this studio, which is half the length of a typical shoot in my own. Kay is a professional traveling model who does a lot of erotic nude work, so I had a conversation with her right away about how we would include each look... start with clothed, fun poses, peel to nude, end with erotic poses, move on to new look. In these cases, I often say “You know the drill.” They smile and nod and we get to work. It’s very efficient. We shot 250 frames in an hour and I kept a full 50%, which is excellent. Kay has acute, young look that translates really well into casual fashion. Her nude poses ranged from“cute girlfriend” to “sexy bed partner.” I didn’t direct her much, save general posing to ensure the lighting would work.
