Tabitha
I met Tabitha when she was on tour and shooting at the New Hampshire studio I frequent. I wouldn’t have met her if it weren’t for this great opportunity to connect with models out of my local market.
I think we may have started a little late with this shoot, and got right into shooting nudes.Tabitha provided a bunch of great poses on the sofa, and you can see by these initial shots that her energy was up and she was engaged. We moved on for more nude work, using an old steamer trunk as a seat. Finally, we shot against the blue tile corner, which is a favorite of mine at that studio. You can see from the work that Tabitha was fun and engaged, and also pivoted to sexier poses and looks.
I See You
You can see in frame 16 that Tabitha settled right in. This tighter shot really highlights her face, and angles in her arm and hand posing makes the shot much more interesting. The wooden wall gives the shot a comfortable, homey feeling.
Peeking
I converted some to B/W, and you can see that the monochrome in frame 203 allows your eyes to travel to her hair, and her ear just peeking out. Sometimes the decision to move away from color brings out details and patterns that you might miss in a color version.
Warm is Cool
In shot 146, the green background is lush, and works really well with the natural wood trunk, but her skin I warmer in the setting and more contrasting against the cool wall.
