Isa Gabriella

I regularly shoot at a studio in New Hampshire, which hires traveling models for a two-day engagement. They shoot their own content in one session and invite photographers to reserve 1:1 shooting slots afterward. I like this approach because they connect with excellent, experienced models who are out of my local market.

Gabriella and I didn’t get off to a perfect start. There was a slight disconnect regarding content. We talked about it and moved on. One important thing in these situations is to avoid unnecessarily making a misunderstanding into a problem. It’s best to get clear and get started, and we did.

We started in the boudoir space, and it flowed well. As is so often the case, her personality emerged as we started shooting. In my experience, this is typically the first 20 minutes ofany shoot with a new subject. Gabriella has a very welcoming, friendly look, so I asked her to be bring that out. She was engaging and smiling as we worked. You can see thatGabriella is lovely, and also approachable at the same time. I think the work we did together brings that together nicely.

The Takeaway

Every model is so different. When you look at Gabriella in frame 30, she has a nice, positive engaging energy. She is looking right at you and pops out of the bright background color with a smile. Her thick brown hair really adds to the capture.

Mellow Yellow

In 155, she’s connecting with you again, her cute expression is welcoming, and I love that her ears are sticking out of her hair just a tiny bit. Often, it’s the small things you notice

Eyes Are Up Here!

You’ll see more of that friendly energy in frame 253; Gabriella is nude and covered, looking happy and relaxed.

You can find fashion and nude sets from this shoot in my Patreon store.

I have her current Instagram as @isagabriellaaa.
